Bradley T. Wilson Attorney at Law

Bradley T. “Brad” Wilson is a veteran trial lawyer who has practiced in the field of criminal law his entire career. He is a strong advocate who prides himself on zealous representation and compassion for his client in all cases.

Mr. Wilson attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. During law school, he completed an internship with the Public Defender’s Office for Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit. He earned the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award: Stetson’s “book award,” for the top performance in a trial advocacy class.

After completing law school, he went to work as a prosecutor under then State Attorney, Jerry Hill. During his time at the State Attorney’s Office, he tried over 60 cases as lead counsel and prosecuted countless others to their resolution. He worked in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties, handling cases ranging from noise ordinance violations to murder.

When he first decided to enter private practice, Mr. Wilson had the privilege to work with William “Bill” Fletcher. Wilson had the benefit of learning from Mr. Fletcher’s nearly 50 years of experience, which includes having tried numerous cases alongside legendary attorney, Jack Edmund.

In 2022, Mr. Wilson, with longtime friend and colleague, Peter J. Brewer founded Brewer & Wilson, PLLC. Mr. Brewer had established a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer and strong advocate for his clients, so the partnership was a natural fit. The firm strives to provide top-quality trial work and service to clients. Brewer and Wilson believe in absolute loyalty to the client (YOU are worth fighting for), and that no case is too big or too small to deserve their attention. They proudly fight for the rights of the accused across all of Central Florida.

Whether it means learning from the great lawyers who went before him or tracking new developments in the law, Mr. Wilson prides himself on continually developing his craft as a trial lawyer. He currently serves as Highlands County Chapter President for the Florida Association of Criminal Defense lawyers.

Brad and his wife are the proud parents of four children. He is passionate about his faith, family, and community. He enjoys reading, and most outdoor activities, especially working on his family’s ranch.
